Pentland Canoe Club

The membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December. If you join for the first time at the pool sessions (which start in the Autumn) you will be given membership for the following year.

What is the membership fee used for?
The membership fees cover affiliation to the Scottish Canoe Association and contributes to the running of the club and the purchase and maintenance of club equipment. The annual subscription to the club covers the running costs which are:

• Scottish Canoe Association membership which includes Third Party Insurance.
• Caithness Sports Council membership
• Club Store insurance and maintenance
• Trailer maintenance

Full membership to the Club is open to anybody over the age of 14 years who can swim.

• Youth Membership: open to individuals in full time education (includes university students) and those who are unemployed. Evidence may be asked for from those over 18 years of age.  
• Adult Member: open to those individuals over 18 years old.
• Family Membership: to one or more individuals from the same family. This is limited to 2 adults and children under 18.

Additionally, there is an Associate Membership which is available to those who are 12 & 13 years old to permit them to come to Swimming Pool Sessions only.
