Location: 4 miles west of Thurso. OS map 12; grid reference ND172698  
Directions:  Follow the A836 from Thurso to John O Groats. Just after the village of Murkle take the left hand track down to break.  
Break(s):   Faces north east.  Good left hander off “the spur” into the bay if there is a strong westerly swell. Best at mid tide.
